Welcome to Litchfield Farms Organic & Natural:
Seafood that values fish and communities!
Wholesome. Sustainable. Nutritious. Delicious. Local. Traceable. Community.
These values reflect our tradition and commitment to all natural and organic
meats and provisions reaching back over 75 years. This tradition
continues in our unique way of selecting and bringing to market seafood
that is fresh, supports local artisan producers and is fully traceable
and sustainable.
Our customers recognize our commitment to sustainable seafood and appreciate
the fact that if we sell it, it is good for you and supports a fishery
that is properly managed so that our children and their children
will be able to enjoy the bounty of the sea as we do today.

About Us

The highlights:
- We are a small company that values and treats our customers as partners and friends.
- Litchfield Farms Organic & Natural is the leader in a new “cultural sustainability” movement. Its products reflect the best practices in sustainable seafood, and recognizes and supports local producers and communities. Think Slow Food meets fish!
- Our general manager, Andrea Angera, continues the business his grandfather founded
over 75 years ago. The company's name is Andy's Provision Company,
LLC,
but we do business as Litchfield Farms Organic & Natural since we
relocated to Connecticut from New Jersey in 2006.
- We have a brand new state of the art seafood facility built in an old mill--
we like being able to help revitalize our community.
- We are active in helping set standards for local and sustainable meat and seafood.
We are members of the Organic Trade Association and our GM is
an active member of the working group of the Connecticut Food Council
and a founding member of the Connecticut Meat and Poultry Producers
Association.
- We believe in what we do.
